Matthew Toffolo: What motivated you to make this film?

Chloe Mondesir: I really felt that the message of empowerment was timely and necessary. My daughter who plays the lead (Sonia), is at the age where she has to deal with bully’s and I sometimes struggle as a parent with what to tell her. I want her to be “good” but I also want her to be able to speak up and stand up for herself. I knew that other parents and kids dealt with this very same issue and so I wanted to create something that shows that you can find balance in some of those relationships.
