Interview with Poet Jim Larson:

Matthew: What is the theme of your poem?

Jim: Absurdity.

Matthew: How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?

Jim: I hope they laugh. The poem is meant to be absurd. I hope they see the humor in it.

Matthew: How long have you been writing poetry?

Jim: 30 years

Matthew: Do you have a favorite poet?

Jim: Rudyard Kipling

Matthew: What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor?

Jim: I hope to expand my audience.

Matthew: Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?

Jim: Essays, stories, screenplays, and I am working on my first novel.

Matthew: What is your passion in life?

Jim: Illuminating for others that which is beyond the obvious, usually through humor, but not always.
