I’m simply looking to step out of my comfort zone, to move out of fear and into self love and to pursue outlets for self expression.

Matthew: What is the theme of your poem?

Lacie: Divine romance, love.

Matthew: How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?

Lacie: I hope that people will feel a connection, that they are not
alone. I hope they will see how fear can be walked through with
stillness and intention.

Matthew: How long have you been writing poetry?

Lacie: I’ve been writing poetry since 1997.

Matthew: Do you have a favorite poet?

Lacie: Right now my favorite poet is Shane Koyczan.

Matthew: Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?

Lacie: I occasionally write short stories.

Matthew: What is your passion in life?

Lacie: I have many passions; all of which are in some way connected to
spreading a message of love and awakening. I am an energy healer, I
love researching different aspects of spirituality and applying what
fits into my life, I enjoy being of service in different ways to help
others, I love music and all forms of art (whether intentional or
not), writing poetry and inspirational messages, being in nature, I am
passionate about Narcotics Anonymous and my greatest gift and passion
is being a mother.
