Where I’ll Be Tomorrow – Poetry Reading by Thomas Noel Smith

Watch Poetry Reading WHERE I’LL BE TOMORROW:

    Poem read by Dan Cristofori.

Interview with Poet Thomas Noel Smith:

1) What is the theme of your poem?

I don’t really want to assign a ‘theme’ per se to my work. it contains memories of a fictional character. It has a sense of nostalgia…it, I think, asks all of us to be observant to where we are and what we value today…but as far as theme…I think each person must decide that for himself.

2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?

I hope they would be moved or touched by the sentiment …maybe even recall memories and feelings they have had that may be found to be somewhat parallel to the thoughts of the poem

3) How long have you been writing poetry?

A long time

4) Do you have a favorite poet?

Yes..many…Shakespeare, Longfellow, Emily Dickinson, Richard Wilbur, William Butler Yeats, and many, many more

5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor?

I am also a professional actor (in Florida) and I thought “who better to read my stuff than another actor?”

6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?

I’ve written 3 books of poetry. I’m currently working on my 4th. I’ve written short stories, I’ve written a screenplay that I would like to have produced. I am also working on a novel.

7) What is your passion in life?

Acting
