Get to know Poet Paulo Guimaraes:
1) What is the theme of your poem?
Change, of self, mind, ideas, etc.
2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?
Positively if possible, haha. They can respond in any way chosen, as long as they get some type of feeling from the work.
3) How long have you been writing poetry?
Since high school, about 25 years ago.
4) Do you have a favorite poet?
Jack Keuoriac
5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor?
To hear my work in a different way, other than my own interpretation and presentation. Plus, the actor might add some extra, well-needed flair, ;).
6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?
I have written maybe 4-5 short stories in my life. And essays for school. But poetry is my heart.
7) What is your passion in life?
At this time, it is to further my career in the arts, mainly painting and acting. Two of my younger ventures in the arts (painting for 5 years, acting since this past December).
