Get to know poet Ondrea Tye:
1) What is the theme of your poem?
Love romance, the exhilaration of falling in love.
2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your
poetry reading?
It’s up to them how to respond. In that moment in time where they are at in the universe will determine what they see in the poem. I just hope they like it and now or at some point in their lives they could connect to it.
3) How long have you been writing poetry?
Since I was 12.
4) Do you have a favorite poet?
Pablo Neruda
5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry
performed by a professional actor?
It just thought it would be cool.
6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?
I had written a column of romance advice form a dog and cat (Fluffy and Fido answers your love questions” and I’ve written lyrics as well and I do have a knack for writing hate letters for Big Impersonal Corporate Drones. (see: .http://www.hateletter.net/)
7) What is your passion in life?
Photography, watercolor painting, jewelry making, teaching ESL and travel and nature/wildife as view from my (photographey) lens.
