Get to know director Erik Linthorst:
An award-winning documentary filmmaker and screenwriter, Erik’s films have screened at dozens of film festivals including the Sundance Film Festival, Edinburgh, Austin, and Toronto After Dark.
Erik has written or produced work for Anchor Bay Films, Radar Pictures, Cosmic Entertainment, Parallel Media, Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst Entertainment and others. His feature film, “High School”, featuring Academy Award winner Adrien Brody was released nationwide theatrically in 2012, and is currently airing on Showtime and Starz Network.
Due to the grass roots success of his PBS documentary about his son Autistic-Like: Graham’s Story, Erik has been an invited presenter and keynote speaker nationally and internationally at education conferences. He remains a strong parent advocate and proponent for the inclusion of effective play therapies in early intervention programs.
