MISSTEP – Audience Feedback

MT: Anybody want to make a first comment about “Misstep”?

Audience 1: I laughed at the end credits because they said “no investment bankers were harmed in the making of this movie” and I thought that was very funny. Why am I thinking of “Sliding Doors” which is a movie I never saw but somehow it makes me think of that movie just from the little bit I know about it. It just seems that he learned a lesson. He would have died if not for the man that he looked down on, and maybe he changes his attitude about people because of that.

MT: We do judge people, right? It’s an easy antagonist to have – the investment banker. Especially in this day and age, right? We immediately do not like those people for some reason and this guy, we did not like him and then all of the sudden he learns his lesson and okay, and he’s got a heart.

Audience 2: I just have something short to say. It’s just ignorance versus compassion.

MT: Totally, yeah. We are all guilty of judgement and maybe that’s what this film is about you have to watch yourself sometimes because you never know who’s going to save you.
