Matthew Toffolo: What is the general theme and tone of your novel?

J.E. Plemons: Finding hope in a fallen world, and preserving faith through despair. This novel reads very dark and grim, almost depressing, but with a gleam of hope hiding beneath its gloomy tragic tone.

MT: Why should people buy your novel?

JEP: Readers will find something very original about this dystopian story that none others have brought. If readers are looking for suspense, adventure, and a large dose of gratuitous violence, the Last Light Falling series will be sure to supply it for you. I’d like to think this isn’t your typical run-of-the-mill, cookie cutter apocalyptic novel.
