Director’s Statement:

Clean Break is a film that came out of a simple idea: I wanted to write something funny about a break up. I also wanted to write something that I could produce and film simply – leaving room to concentrate on the performances and the jokes. As such, it’s a pretty simple piece: it takes place in a single room, only features two characters and the action is limited. But I hope that, in imposing these limitations, I was able to make something that shines where I wanted it to shine – that is full of good, memorable lines, is believably performed and…
