Director Statement: I was first introduced to Rebecca Nyahay and Raushanah Simmons through friends in New York. They were looking for a female action director to lead the predominantly female crew they had assembled and I was honored to be on their short list. When they started to discuss Blackwell Summers Mysteries with me and introduced me to the characters of Grace Blackwell and Raven Summers there was no choice in my mind… I would fly to New York and sleep on friend’s couches to direct this movie.
I loved having the opportunity to play in a legendary time period…
