Genre: Life, Society

A child in me doesn’t want to grow up.
A mother in me doesn’t want to let go.
A girl in me wants to break free, and a woman in me knows what it takes to be!

I am an ocean without a shore, yet I find myself a coastline.
I bind myself and keep churning, I sometimes withdraw but I keep returning.

I crave to be a free fall from the mountains or river at least that flows.
I am certainly not what you can see, I am the one who knows!
Yet, here I am under a flightless wing waiting to feel the wind.
I am wrapped in wool and kept like a jewel, but I know what I’d rather be!
