Patrik Bergh’s short film THE APOLOGY played to rave reviews at the October 2016 Action/Crime FEEDBACK Film Festival. His film is a perfectly executed short with a great twist, some thrills, and some great laughs. It’s simply what a short film is all about.

Matthew Toffolo: What motivated you to make this film?

Patrik Bergh: An image of an old man sitting alone in a restaurant looking out the window motivated me to write the script. I was curious as to who or what he could be waiting for. Once the script was finished I showed it to my producer and he was very keen for us to do it. I wanted to make a film that was very simple and stripped back. And I wanted to work closely on the characters and the performances.
