High school mobile DJ’s Travis and Carl set their sights on the DJ World Championship, while heartache, complicated home lives, and a rival DJ crew are all hell-bent on their destruction.

What genres does your screenplay fall under?

Drama/Coming of Age

Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

Music is enjoyed by nearly everyone in the world. Nearly all your memories from your life have a soundtrack of the era attached to them. This film would show the background on how that soundtrack is delivered while keeping non DJ enthusiasts entertained.

Aliens (1986)/Can’t Buy Me Love (1987)

Six. (Not just screenplays)

What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the most times in your life?)

ACDC-Back in Black
Van Halen – Unchained

What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?

Receiving feedback and making changes to the script. It is constantly under construction. With co-writers, many times it is a struggle to come to a consensus on how a scene will play out. Many hours went into these brainstorming sessions.

Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

Camping. Shooting guns.

What influenced you to enter the festival? What were your feelings on the initial feedback you received?

The feedback that we received was very insightful and it let us know that we still had a lot of work to do.
