Logline: Sixteen-year-old Patty, runs away from home to become a jockey. She’s a natural on a horse. She finds Sam Samuels, a trainer that has one horse, Justamis, that no one can handle. Patty convinces Sam to let her ride him. She and Justamis rise to the top together and Patty finds out the hard way that winning sometimes costs more than it’s worth.
