Logline: A young actress’ career ambitions are put on hold when she is reassigned by MGM to look after the teenage daughter of the head of the studio. Her new position gives her unique access to the entire studio, resulting in an unexpected flirtation with the star of GONE WITH THE WIND. MGM’s biggest female star has hit the glass ceiling, and is determined to shatter it. At MGM’s rival – Warner Bros – personal battles are monopolizing the lives of its two biggest stars. A Polish immigrant and musical prodigy fleeing a crumbling Europe, finds refuge in open-minded Hollywood, but is always at risk of being deported by the U.S. government.
