Written by: BetteLou Tobin

Type: FEATURE FILM

Genre: Drama

Logline: The Bouhler Haus is a character-driven drama based on Helen Bouhler, the wife of a high-ranking Nazi; beginning in 1932 prior to and during WW II. When Helen learns of her husband’s evil involvement in the holocaust, she becomes instrumental in saving Jewish friends and rescuing children at her own peril.

Personal message: I believe there will always be an interest in WW11 stories. This is a different slant on this period, showing how the German women coped or took action in the war. I did much research including traveling to Germany and Austria, taking photos and interviewing survivors.
