Director Statement

I didn’t know anything about methadone treatment before I made this film. I’m also not a mother. I learned about the true nature of resiliency and unconditional love through the lens of these four moms. I also gained an appreciation for the essential and under recognized care that addiction service professionals provide every day. My desire is to further expand upon this short film and I’m in the process of developing a feature documentary about this subject.
