A deluded, wannabe film-maker causes a stir in his small rural Irish community when he combines his love of movie-making with the family funeral business.
Thomas James Scott was born in 1981 in Belfast, Ireland. Thomas studied the Humanities at Belfast Institute before attending Queens University, Belfast to study Film. In 2009, Thomas commenced a four and a half year study period at Ulster University. In 2010 he was awarded a Master of Arts research degree, and in 2014, he was awarded a PhD in Film. During this period he conducted research at UCLA and USC in California. Thomas also tutored and lectured at Ulster University between 2009 and 2014.
