Freshly graduated, Bill Leonard begins a promising new career in the development business. But he soon starts to question his own sanity as errors are made at work, and hallucinations become part of daily life. In order to fight what he perceives to be madness, Bill conjures up vivid memories of his European vacation and his lover, Helen. While health professionals struggle to diagnose his illness, Bill becomes more and more dependent on his flashbacks, until he winds up in a group therapy program in a mental health hospital. Following a diagnosis for bi-polar disorder, Bill starts to rebuild his life, determined to embrace the future.
