Alexis, is a senior at Lindenwood University. She will graduate in December with a Bachelor of Arts with Digital Cinema Arts. Crowning Change is Lexy’s debut as a Director. Lexy actually competed against Erin at Miss Missouri. After Erin was crowned, she saw how her life dramatically changed and the backlash she for being the first openly gay Miss America contestant. As a close friend, and a filmmaker, Lexy thought it was her obligation to share Erin’s story in hopes of bringing awareness to LGBTQ equality.
