Born and raised in rural northern Alberta, Corynne Bisson began her dance training at age 7. She trained in contemporary, jazz, hip hop, ballet, and modern. At the age of 18, with her sights set on further developing her multiple dance styles she moved to Calgary Alberta, a larger urban center to with a stronger dance culture. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary majoring in Dance, where she has had multiple opportunities to perform work of local and national artists such as: Peggy Baker, Oriana Pagnotta, Tara Wilson, Jessilyn Britton and Michelle Moss. While in Calgary Corynne had the distinct honour as a principle dancer with the Surge CO for one season.
