The bullets ripped through
his soft innocent black flesh
casting shreds of vein
and brain asunder
with no sympathy
for the carnage rendered;
they were only following orders
as dictated
by the law of physics
and the human
(or rather less than human)
black gang-banger
who squeezed the trigger.
