Mister Egg Short Film, Audience FEEDBACK Video from March 2019 Los Angeles Film Festival

lafeedbackfilmfestival's avatarLos Angeles feedback film festival

Directed by Filippo Michele Guarna
As Paul serenely prepares his daily breakfast, the ordinariness of his morning routine is interrupted by an unexpected encounter: Mister Egg, the well-mannered egg which is being cooked by Paul, engages him in a philosophical conversation from the bottom of the frying pan. On one hand Mister Egg supports the equality between him and Paul; on the other hand Paul claims his superiority as a human over an egg. When Mister Egg wins the philosophical debate, pride and hunger take over Paul, who, right after having recognised his rhetorical defeat, mercilessly eats Mister Egg. Doing so, however, Paul chokes and collapses, pathetically dying.
