Matthew Toffolo: gave you the idea to write this very short story?

Neil Plakcy: My first golden retriever, Samwise, who inspired my golden retriever mystery series, was always getting into trouble, nosing around and eating stuff he shouldn’t. Seeing that stuff come out the front or the back was always gross.

2) How many stories/screenplays have you written?

I have written 23 mystery novels in three different series, 22 gay romance novels, and a bunch of short story collections. Also a couple of unproduced screenplays.

3) What movie have you watched the most times in your life?

My favorite is With Six You Get Eggroll, with Doris Day and Brian Keith, and a host of other actors at early points in their careers. And a dog!

4) What’s your favorite thing about twitter? What’s your least favorite thing about twitter?
