TV PILOT: The Drag Show, by Lawrence Daly

The Drag Show will be an hour long TV dramedy series about Harlow/Zack, who hunts the treacherous waters of ’90’s New York looking for love but actually finds glamour, friendship, sex and himself along the way.
He/she uses his/her good looks, dressed as a man or a woman, to get affection, but struggles to find a gay partner who accepts drag or a chaser who accepts masculinity.
The Drag Show is an honest exploration of the challenges facing the queer community including sex/drug addiction, HIV/AIDS, dating hardships, gender idenity and discrimination.
The Drag Show is also a celebration of LGBTQ lives, which showcases the creativity, kinship, inclusion and love that defines our community.
Harlow and the queens of Club Ladywood, take us on a colorful, rhinestone-studded journey both onstage and behind the scenes. There is no shortage of drama, comedy, wigs and of course, drag shows!
