0723ef8900 posterA thriller with touches of magical realism and an analogy for women’s relationship to time. A reflection upon youth, middle age and old age through the characters Hebe (the young), Circe (the middle-aged) and Athena (old aged).

The plot follows Circe, a mysterious middle-aged photographer who arrives at an isolated B&B hosted by the wise Athena, in a forgotten village of the English countryside, under the pretext of photographing wildlife and capturing beauty.

However, underneath her quiet nature, we learn through flashbacks details of an appalling crime in 1900. Back to the present moment, what Circe really wishes – in an attempt to ‘capture youth and beauty’ and stop herself from ageing – is to carry out a gruesome plan to kill Hebe, the beautiful, bold, fearless young student who had been stalked through social media.
