Director Biography – Ethan Munoz (GENTLY INTO THE DARK)

Ethan Munoz grew up the small town of Corning, CA and moved to Los Angeles in 2017. He graduated Columbia College Hollywood and got his Bachelor’s degree in 2019. He started out making comedy short films and grew to love making thriller films.
Ethan loves to write stories, watch movies, and play videogames. He loves to laugh and make jokes. He also drives a stick-shift Honda Civic that he loves to drive.

Director Statement

I love telling stories that get people’s attention and spark a conversation. Stories are the greatest way we tell our emotions to the world. Gently Into the Dark is the first story I’ve written from my emotions. It was the first gay story I’ve written. As a gay filmmaker that grew up in a small town I was afraid of coming out and there was nothing more daunting than that and thus Gently Into the Dark…
