A cinematographer who began his career under the tutelage of Albert Maysles, Jonathan brings his singular and extensive experience in the documentary format into all facets of the visual storytelling landscape. Lensing a wide array of content, Jonathan most recently wrapped principal photography for a new documentary featuring Martin Scorsese about the history of Italian opera. Other credits include: Art of Work – Jordan Greenway, a doc short for Lebron James’ Uninterrupted about the first black hockey player to skate for the US Olympic Team; I Lived: Brooklyn, a doc series about place and identity in Brooklyn’s neighborhoods (2017 Tribeca Film Festival premiere); Trollville, a narrative comedy series featuring Henry Zebrowski, Deirdre Lovejoy, and Matt Servitto; and numerous commercials for high profile fashion client like Covergirl, Vince, and Tommy Hilfiger.
