Director Biography – Steven Brese, Stefka Lytwyn (THE SCHOOL IN THE CLOUDS)

Steven Brese loves bringing his eclectic experience to collaborate with other artists while finding unique and unusual ways to communicate untold stories. Steven graduated from The King’s University in 2009 with a BA in Politics, History and Economics and from University of London, Heythrop College with an MA in Contemporary Ethics in 2011 before pursing a career in media production. Learning on the job, he took on a role as a journalist in a 24-hour television newsroom in Kyiv, Ukraine. He went on to produce broadcast television for four years in Ukraine before returning home to establish himself as a visual storyteller in Edmonton, Alberta. Steven films, edits and directs and has a deep desire to highlight stories of individuals that are inspiring others to make themselves better and their communities more connected.
