How does a school in the remote mountains of Ukraine survive harsh winters, crumbling infrastructure, and a lack of government investment? The School in the Clouds tells the story of a rural school in Bukovets, Ukraine and follows a young student, principal, chef and teacher. Children hike some 7km down from the mountains to reach this school and despite difficult conditions, the staff continue to find ways to teach traditional ways of life and equip their students for success in the future.
