Bethany Teague is an award-winning documentary filmmaker based in Blacksburg, Virginia.
She began her career as a television news reporter/anchor in West Virginia and Virginia. Her work in front of and behind the camera earned her Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press awards, as well as an Emmy nomination for feature reporting.
In 2017, Bethany stepped away from television news to fully focus on documentary filmmaking.
Bethany graduated with a film degree from the University of North Carolina Asheville, where she also played soccer.
