Shine & Shade examines the unpredictable behavior of a solitary, aged woman, living across an ophthalmologist’s clinic in one of Mumbai’s most crowded suburbs.
As the lady oscillates between lucidity and delusion, the film plays with the notion of ‘sight’ and ‘normalcy’ to question attitudes to the aged.
