Director Biography – Lee Margaret Hanson (REFLECTIONS)

Lee Margaret Hanson grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; where her first passion in life was training in martial arts. Taekwondo to be exact. She achieved her 3rd degree black belt and competed at a very high level, representing team Canada at several Junior and Senior World Taekwondo Championships.
Along, with martial arts, Hanson became very accomplished in music and theatre, receiving her MFA in Theatre Performance from Arizona State University.
Now, officially an Angeleno, Lee has worked in professional theatre, film and commercials. She is an actor and teaching artist in Tim Robbins Theatre company: The Actors’ Gang, and she currently runs the Theatre program at the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts in Culver City, CA.
