The Chessboard, the Battle, the Time.
A leaf falls in every move… and if you catch it, you might recognize what you’ve lost.
A move of doubt.. and the knight with the broken head remains in place.
In memory, time does not pass.
On the chessboard, silence is never defeated.

Director Statement
“Knight’s Memory” was born out of a need for inner expression. Through the image of a woman placing chess pieces on a bench in a deserted park, I tell a silent, subterranean battle with time and memory.
The knight, broken-headed, is not just a piece – it symbolizes a loss, a halted thought, a love left unspoken.
This film doesn’t aim to answer, but to question. It is a study of silence, of internal struggle, of the imprint the past leaves upon the present.
The viewer is invited to observe, to listen, to feel – as one does when facing a memory that hurts but resists being forgotten.
For me, this is a deeply personal film. Yet I hope it becomes a mirror for the one watching – a mirror that cracks or glows with something familiar.
