I used to live in New York and one night I received a phone call advising me that my mom was very sick and being rushed to the hospital. I left New York and returned back to Arkansas. As I assumed the duties of being her caregiver, I noticed that there were times she would be sitting there with tears in her eyes and clenched fists. She was in severe pain and trying to bear it on her own. So we started documenting everything she eat and drank. As long as she eat meat and vegetables, there was no pain. Then I discovered that the pain returned, once she eat something that had GMOs in it. So, I paid utmost attention to what I purchased, until one day, I bought black pepper in a hurry…got it home, prepared dinner and here come the tears again…I became angry over what should have been the simplest thing to buy, that it was laden with gmo filler. So at this point, I wanted to try and educate people in an entertaining and thought provoking way, because people are going through serious battles that can all be conquered with knowledge and change.
