1) What is the theme of your poem?

The theme of my poem is the matrix. It exposes the set of devices created by its architects to manage command and regulate our behavior.

2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch
your poetry reading?

I do not have any specific expectation from readers or listeners; I just hope they’ll share the poem to the maximum people possible so that it catches the attention of someone willing and able to raise the funds needed to make a short film out of my other poems.

3) How long have you been writing poetry?

I started writing poems 16 years ago.

4) Do you have a favorite poet?

I don’t have a favorite poet, they are many. Lao Tzu, Rumi, Okoth Bitek and Baudelaire books are very inspiring but I also value the work of hip hop lyricists like Nas, Talib Kweli , Yasiin Bey and Ab-Soul since they are very talented poets too.

5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry
performed by a professional actor?

I visited their website, watched their poetry videos and was amazed by the quality of their work. There are very few professionals making poetry videos with a cast of actors so I decided to submit my poem.

6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?

I don’t write other works but I am learning on my own to write scripts and short stories.

7) What is your passion in life?

Spreading a positive and conscious message to the universe through my poetry is my passion.
