Sheila Warren: “Moving On” is about a woman living the idyllic small town life until her husband dies suddenly. Anne is faced with uncertain prospects and the sexism of 1970 society.

3. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

“Moving On” should be made because it is an inspiring story about overcoming tragedy and personal growth. Anne is a powerful character but vulnerable at the same time. Her story will resonate with many viewers, female and male. It is a snapshot of a period of growing feminism contrasted with conservative, small town values and it contains a rich mix of supporting characters.
