Matthew Toffolo: What gave you the idea to write this very short story?

Connie Wilson: A close friend I was a cheerleader with in high school (6-girl squad) had “brain bleeds” that were addressed by the University of Iowa Hospitals. Everyone thought she was “okay.” She dropped dead in her front yard while mowing the grass. She had just gotten married.

2) How many stories/screenplays have you written?

I have 3 books of short stories entitled “Hellfire & Damnation,” (I, II and III, http://www.HellfireAndDamnationTheBook.com). I also have 3 paperback volumes of “Ghostly Tales of Route 66” and several e-book versions. (www.GhostlyTalesofRoute66.com). I have won 38 screenplay competitions since March, 2018, for a screenplay based on the first book in my 3-novel series THE COLOR OF EVIL. Prior to that, I had won a screenplay competition sponsored by Writer’s Digest.
