1) What is the theme of your poem?

The theme of my poem is profound renewal: personal and social, beyond all expectations.

2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?

3) How long have you been writing poetry?

I have been writing poetry since I was ten years old.

4) Do you have a favorite poet?

I have many but my favorite poet is Pablo Neruda..

5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor?

Mainly, I think that “Detroit” because of its strong content could be well dramatized by hearing and watching an actor reading it.

6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?

I write plays, screenplays, essays. short stories, non-fiction and of course poetry.

7) What is your passion in life?

My passion in life is writing, and poetry is my favorite type of writing.

  1. I dont know Detroit; i only am family to Los Angeles..but sometimes being a family member sucks. In the case of your ties to Detroit..it is something i can only long.
    I enjoyed your poem.
