He’s deep as the ocean, and gentle as a dove

He’s a poet of emotion, his language is love

I am a girl made of flaws, tied together with a smile

Carrying the weight of his loss with the weight of each mile

This feeling like quicksand has taken it’s toll

Another holds his hand, while I hold his soul
