Get to know writer Dennis Goldberg:

Why do people need to know about your story?

Because it is very exciting, entertaining and has never been done before.

How long have you been writing stories?

Since I was a youngster in second grade and of course I had to baby sit my younger brother and the best way to get him to go to sleep was to make up stories that kept his interest.

What movie have you seen the most in your life?

Benny Hill’s TV Shows, most well known comedians from the old school, and Humphrey Bogart movies and a whole lot more.

What artists would you love to work with?

Anyone who has an open mind and enjoys new and never before done material.

How many stories have you written?

Over 130 short stories, 32 feature screenplays a number of short screenplays and a few novels and how to books. I write for the love of the art, PERIOD.

Ideally, where would you like to be in 5 years?

Still alive and hopefully watching some of my stories come to life.

Describe your process; do you have a set routine, method for writing?

Not really, but I write nearly every day; depends on the mood I’m in, the idea that has attracted me and do I have the time now that spring is upon me and the large yard is calling my name for it’s needs.

Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

TELLING STORIES!

What influenced you to enter the WILDsound Festival?

It appealed to me.

Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?

Absolutely, Write for the love of writing then write about whatever ‘Turns your crank’ as the expression goes. There is no one way to write except JUST DO IT AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN AND FIRST OF ALL TO PLEASE YOURSELF, PERIOD.
