1 – What is your very short story about?

The girl who knifed the man is part of a mafia gang, aided and abetted by Irish dissidents, plotting to kidnap the Pope during a visit to Venice. He was about to blow her cover.

2 – What motivated you to write this story and submit it to the festival?

I wanted to see what the ‘outside’ world thought about it

3 – What movie have you seen the most in your life?

Would you believe, Moulin Rouge – just loved it! Followed by The Bourne Identity

4 – How many scripts and stories have you written?

Seven

5 – What artists would you love to work with?

Matt Damon

6 – What is your passion in life?

Reading, writing, movies and music – not necessarily in that order

7 – Any tips for other writers who want to write a 140 character short story?

Write, re-write and re-write again..and again…and again – stories start out as rough diamonds; they need to be continually polished until they shine, Don’t use 10 words when three will suffice. Keep it sharp. Stay focused.
