Nobody, Poetry by María Castro Domínguez

Genre: War poetry

Nobody
by María Castro Domínguez

Dust is my face

my arms carry a regal gun, loaded in case

coated in rags, my body drags

remnants of what it once was

who did this? I say to the crowds who spoke

who brushed out my identity, my name

with just a stroke.
