1) What is the theme of your poem?
My Body Betrays Me: Aging and angry
I Hide From Death: fear and death
2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?
If you mean initial response, I would like to know it touched them emotionally in some way. If you mean actual response…they can leave a YouTube comment or thumbs up.
3) How long have you been writing poetry?
I would say my entire life!
4) Do you have a favorite poet?
Edna St. Vincent Millay
5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor?
I thought it was a great opportunity for my writing to be put into the world. As it should be…not hold up in my desk drawer.
6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?
Yes! I have several scripts, short stories and a novel (was a script and I think would also make a great graphic novel, just need an artist!)
7) What is your passion in life?
My passion is the narrative and story that needs to be told, must be told and is bursting at the seams to be told. Not just my story but all the stories swirling through the world. I hope my work evokes an emotional response. Love, hate, sadness, joy, humor…whatever…any emotional response means I have done something. I have touched someone.
