Glorious Day

Today as the journey begins
On this Glorious Day we stand
Before the path of righteousness
I am on my knee to take your hand

There was a beginning time
When we met on a special day
That I knew in my heart
That someday you would say

That together as one
There is a life we can build
That will join us forever
And keep us fulfilled

For you are my life
My cherished salvation
You keep my body whole
With a balanced foundation

I take your hand
And adjoin it with mine
Our hearts are now one
Forever we intertwine
