1) What is the theme of your poem?
The theme of my poem is so many give of their lives sacrificially for the freedom of others They come home wounded and their parents are brokenhearted yet proud.
2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?
In the same way God, the Father, sent His son to fight and die for us so that we could have eternal freedom. Also, as in war, Christians are fighting spirits battles every day and though we become wounded, we must remember that ultimately this battle is not ours but it is God’s.
3) How long have you been writing poetry?

4) Do you have a favorite poet?
Not really
5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor?
I ran across your add on Twitter and just thought I would enter it to see what would happen.
6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?
I have written an entire book which is at the publisher’s as we speak.
7) What is your passion in life?
I have several passions in my life. First, is my passion for sharing the love of Christ and the hope of heaven the Christian life gives with the world. Second, I have a passion for the man God gave me to be my husband, partner and best friend. Third I have a passion for the written word through reading and through self expression through poetry.
