UNKNOWN DESTINATION:

Get to know writer JaVohn Perry:

1) What is your very short story about?

My very short story is about an individual named Cecilia who finds herself lost somewhere and wondering how she got there. Frightened, she continues down a deserted road, trembling, traveling to an unknown destination.

2) What motivated you to write this story and submit it to the festival?

Writing is my passion and I love a challenge. When I saw the opportunity to write a 140 character story, I loved the idea and quickly came up with this story.

3) What movie have you seen the most in your life?

It’s probably a tie between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Little Shop of Horrors.

4) How many scripts and stories have you written?

I haven’t written any scripts as of yet, but I have written 2 stories.

5) What artists would you love to work with?

I would love to work with any artist! I have a love and passion for art. I am always seeking to collaborate with my peers and if the opportunity ever arises for me to work with someone I look up to, of course I’d jump at it.

6) What is your passion in life?

Writing is and always has been my passion.

7) Any tips for other writers who want to write a 140 character short story?

Go for it! Be as descriptive as possible.
