Matthew Toffolo: What is the general theme and tone of your novels?
Rick Schroeder: “Under The Redbud Tree” is a story of sexual awakening and exploration. Two people are journeying in search of answers. Their coming together changes the direction of the journey for both of them and shows them there is much more to be learned and experienced than they ever imagined.
MT: Why should people buy your novels?
RS: There is a lot of sex. They are, after all, erotica. While my stories deal will a lot of graphic sexual activity, I also attempt to tell a story including setting a scene and developing characters of interest to, hopefully, engage the reader as the story is being told.
