The theme of the JULY 2016 FILM FESTIVAL was:
“BELONGING”.
Every film showcased on the night were about characters attempting to belong in society.
Here’s the summary of each film:
– THE DRUNK: GETTING HOME: Guy comes home and can’t get in.
– NATIVE IMMIGRATION: Mockumentary about natives being called “immigrants”.
– CLEAN BREAK: Who broke up with whom?
– STEPHEN THE TIME TRAVELLING DOG: Where did Stephen go?
– HOWELL: Is he a human being?
– PEOPLE OF NOWHERE: Music video about the wave of Syrian refugees
– CRE-AZIONI: A film about women and time.
– WALK: The fear of aging.
– SILENCE: Love that everyone dreams.
– I LIKE YOU: A child falls in love with a girl.
– DREAMS OR DEMONS: Liberating yourself from society.
– DRAGON DREAMING: An artist who can’t hear.
– LOREN THE ROBOT BUTLER: A british butler is isolated to the basement.
It’s a new beginning to the FEEDBACK Film Festival at the Carlton Cinemas in downtown Toronto, Canada. Great things are coming in the 2016 season as we will be showcasing a festival every single month!
